The McIntire School of Commerce of the University of Virginia was ranked the best undergraduate business program by BusinessWeek magazine. Kudos to Mr. Jefferson’s University.

The student body of the University of Virginia voted overwhelmingly against a referendum to radically change the school’s honor code. The change was shot down by a margin of two-to-one.

Abraham Lincoln was voted the best pound-for-pound President in U.S. history for the second time by a poll of 65 historians – days after his 200th birthday and 9 years after the original poll by C-Span.
Lincoln scored Top 3 in each of the ten categories including public persuasion, moral authority, and relations with Congress.

Jeffersonia diphylla or Twinleaf is an uncommon spring flower named after the “Titan of Tuckahoe” in 1792 by botonist Benjamin Smith Barton, a contemporary of TJ, and fellow member of the American Philosophical Society.
