UVA Architecture Awarded Award for Architecture

A UVA School of Architecture won top honors for its “Breath House” in an international competition aimed to help Haiti reCover from the devastation of the 2010 Earthquake.

The “Breath House” design is the fruit of the reCover initiative. One of the aims of the competition is to reduce diseases such as AIDS and tuberculosis. The “Breath House” design will be built later in the year.
