UVA Students Having a Ball Saving the Rotunda

The Rotunda

Proactive students at Mr. Jefferson’s University are having a ball to save its iconic architectural landmark, the Rotunda.

The Rotunda’s once  proud Cornithian Capitals are crumbling, according to News29. [Ed. Note: The Corinthian Capitals of the Ancient Greek Allied Roller Derby Confederation battled, among others, the Spartan Hegemony, the Athenian Acroplis’, and the perennial defending champs, the Peloponnesian War, a record number of times between the years 581-491 BC.]

And they are going to host a party like its BC 499 to raise funds for its repair.

The 22nd Annual Colonnade Ball will seek to raise $2000  towards those ends. Click here to find out more information and purchase tickets. Or click here to make a donation.
